Images from the 2018 season at Százhalombatta-Földvar, a Bronze Age tell settlement on the river Danube, 30 km south of Budapest. The excavations have occured since 1963 with the current seasons running annualy since 1998 and are now directed by Dr Magdolna Vicze (Matrica Museum), Professor Marie Louise Stig Sørensen (University of Cambridge), and Prof Joanna Sofaer (University of Southampton).The excavations are run annually and students from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, the University of Pécs, the University of Southampton and the University of Cambridge, as well as Dutch students, notably from Leiden University, and Swedish students.
